Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Finisher to join our leading entertainment marketing agency client. We're looking for talented folks with a graphic design background, and an amazing eye for artistic detail
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain open communication with assigned mentor on a daily basis
Work on mastering basic finishing skills such as masking, painting, combining images
Develop basic understanding of how other departments within the company work - art direction, account management, production art
Develop basic understanding of organizational file structure and naming layers
Store files appropriately using accepted naming conventions in appropriate folders
Meet frequently with the Finishing Manager to discuss areas for development/growth
Assist with digital file transfers (to and from Dropbox to and from Servers, via Team Viewer/Terradici)
Qualifications:
Has 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design and print finishing
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Computer Graphics and Animation or any equivalent
Advanced to intermediate Adobe Photoshop skills
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Bridge, and Camera Raw
General understanding of light, shadow and maintaining an appropriate level of realism
Positive demeanor and commitment to company, clients, and team
