An exciting Junior Finance Business Partner job based in Makati City, has just become available at a leading multinational retail company.
About the Junior Finance Business Partner Role:
In this role, you are responsible for reaching the sales and profit in your area, acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach, and work in accordance with legal requirements and brand standards, policies and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. The role will be reporting directly to the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Create strategies and set action plans to reach country goals; follow up on commercial KPIs and identify commercial opportunities with the area team
Perform monthly profit and loss analysis focusing on sales, salaries, other costs and profit development compared to budget and last year
Work proactively and forecast selling and salary cost development; alongside the area team, take necessary actions to drive selling and increase profitability
Support and educate stores in aligning sales planning and scheduling with the aim to improve efficiency
Secure strong execution by aligning function plan, schedules and contract structure continuously and set the desired contract structure, including management, for every store in line with country goals
Together with merchandising and store management, review concept selling performance and ensure right stock levels and garment availability to maximise selling and limit reduction cost
Support security function on ensuring health and safety, legal and security issues are being handled to company standards and local laws, securing the employee and customer safety at all times
Be familiar with cash office routines in the store, and be involved in store audits, follow up on results, as well as take actions for improvements together with the Area Manager
Partner with the Country Controller, Area HR and Area Manager to identify, develop, recruit and train controlling talent in order to support the business needs, and communicate clearly about business performance and goals to your stores and area team
Support area team members and educate store management on all controlling aspects
