The Role
As a Junior Computer Operator, you will assume overall responsibility inside the computer room and its operations during the work shift. Ensures the correct execution of computer processes including batch running, backups, restoring files, generations, and printing of reports that support day-to-day operations of the company by the established policies and procedures. This includes daily, cutoff, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes. All activities should be done within the prescribed benchmark and KRAs.
How you'll contribute
Handle the operation of various computers and equipment of the department by the respective requirements of each piece of equipment.
Handle the processing of applications to the specific requirements of each system. Monitors console messages and reacts according to directions from systems software or the installations programs.
Operates different platforms and monitors systems performance. Analyze potential problems and takes corrective action were called for or seek assistance from Supervisor or to DPU Head and support units
Refers errors in data processing to IRT, systems programmers, or application support personnel for corrective measures and escalate problems based on escalation procedures
Ensuring updated run guide and log sheet are being utilized to avoid unnecessary incidents
Participate in ongoing project development lifecycle up to production deployment
Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure during critical incidents.

Bachelor's degree in Computer/Telecommunication, Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management
Willing to work on shifting schedule 24/7
Highly effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with people around him/her
