A junior building engineer takes care of the tenant's electrical and maintenance problems such as plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems under the supervision of the Building Engineer. A junior building engineer also does building inspections to determine the repair or action needed. He / She prepare as well the progress report of the building's maintenance or any potential delays or problem that may arise. The junior building engineer oversees the day-to-day operations of the building and provides support on the project planning. As the junior building engineer, he / she must know how to coordinate well in a team, because the maintenance team of building is under the supervision of the junior building engineer. This position will require creative problem solving and analytical skills to address situations with many variables.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Performing routine inspection walks or rounds of buildings and grounds at regular intervals when on shift.
Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; reports needed repairs, safety hazards
includes maintaining an organized scheduling and tracking system, usually on a computer, to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner
Must be knowledgeable on what appropriate chemicals and supplies to utilize,
Maintain set quality standards when performing job duties, observes safety precautions
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.

Troubleshooting with critical and logical thinking while prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
Decision making to be done with the general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
Ability to speak in a professional manner with co-workers and tenants and write clear reports.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Ability to use a computer: required for emails, submitting work hours, and work order system.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: verbal, listening and written
Strong organizational skills, both electronically and paper
Team player, ability to take direction and work on a team
