Junior Application Developer

Your role as the Programmer entails creating new programs or revising existing ones based on specifications, system design, and quality assurance standards. Your responsibilities also include configuring and developing new databases and applications, administration, maintenance, and QA functions for new and existing projects.

Test systems
Update program documentation, user manuals and/or operations manuals based on changes made to programs/systems
Coordinate with key business users to clarify requirements
Gather user requirements
Handle analysis, design, and programming of systems
Design, implement, test, and deploy software
Create software based on proper UI and UX guidelines
The Qualifications
Proven experience with cloud-based applications and databases
Proven expertise or experience with database such as MS SQL and MS Azure server
Experienced with HTML, XML, CSS, Java, JQuery, Ajax, and JavaScript
Knowledge in Python, Ruby.net, Java, RPG/400, C#, PHP, web-based languages, etc.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledgeable in agile development methodologies would be an asset
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent
1+ years of experience in the field is required
Fast and self-motivated learner
Hardworking and results-driven, able to perform well with or without minimal supervision
Can perform multiple tasks at any given time
Strong analytical skills
