JUNIOR ANALYST, RECORD TO REPORT (NIGHT SHIFT)
 
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reporting the assigned legal entity's financial statements (MIF Company Data):
Gathers information from accounting system and those prepared by MPC Prepares financial statements upload (MIF Company Data) and performs elimination for MBAG consolidation.
Resolves validation errors related to financial statement upload in management information factory tool (MIF)
Analyzes reasonability of legal entity's financial statements (Company Data) and provides this to MPC.
Performs necessary adjustments, including but not limited to MBAG feedback
Responsible for the delivery of certain month-end tasks, which may include:
Eliminates account balances for consolidation
Consolidates account balances for all subsidiaries
Calculates and prepares general journal voucher (i.e. prepayment amortization, accrual computation)
Posting of general journal vouchers Prepares other month-end reports (i.e. vehicle and spare parts summaries)
Responsible for day-to-day processes :
Performs general ledger tasks (journal preparation, postings, clearing of accounts, account reconciliation)
Prepares ad-hoc non month-end reporting requirements
Qualifications:
Has a degree in bachelor of science in accounting, preferably a Certified Public Accounting (CPA)
Has knowledge of the entire accounting process, from business transactions to financial statements
Has high-level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Has good time management skills to meet deadlines
Has effective business (oral and written) communication skills
Has sufficient knowledge and skills in using Microsoft (MS) Excel, to include other MS office tools i.e. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
Has basic knowledge on ERP accounting systems, preferably SAP
English language: Speaks and writes business language fluently
Has initiative, quality-driven and has positive disposition
Has ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
Has 1-2 years experience in External Auditing/Accounting, preferably have worked in a shared service organization
