Reporting to the Finance & Administration Supervisor, the officer will be responsible for the performance of a variety of duties categorized by either financial or administrative support. Preferred applicant with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a financing or lending company, or with audit experience.
You will be assisting in the daily operation of the firm including payment, cash management, filing of corporate documentations, annual audit, etc.; you will be assisting in the preparation of financial, management and regulatory reports.
Assist in all accounting entries, payments and reimbursement for expenses claims in timely manner
Assist in the monitoring of investee payments, including bank reconciliation
Audit and monitoring of inventory or stocks received and dispatched at warehouse of clients on a regular basis
Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings
Prepare and submit regulatory license applications and provide the necessary support as and when required
Assist in maintenance, compliance and reporting of regulatory capital returns in compliance with SEC requirements
Assist for submission of returns, withholding tax and income tax returns to BIR
Reconciling daily cash accounts
Process payroll and reimbursements
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Management and stakeholder experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Preferably member of a professional accounting body (PICPA)
Strong knowledge in PFRS
1-3 years of audit / accounting/ fund accounting experience
Hands-on experience in newly setup fund and management company
Independent, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
Meticulous, organised, analytical and detail oriented
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
