DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles and reviews general accounting functions such as : Bank reconciliation, Accounts receivables, Accounts Payables and Receivable, Cost Accounting and Reconciliation, & etc.
Checks transactions and its supporting documents for mathematical accuracy, validity, reasonableness and completeness.
Prepares and records month-end closing entries
Ensures timeliness and accuracy of reports/requirements submitted.
Organize financial data into usable information and maintain updated records
Ensures systematic filing of documents
Others that Management may assign from time to time relevant to job positions.
Additionally, a Junior Accountant may be involved in various administrative tasks related to the finance department.
REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
Proficiency in using accounting software or Excel
Excellent analytical, numeracy skills and time management skills
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
