Our company is in need of:
1 Junior Accountant Salary Offer: PHP 35,000.00 Preferably residing in the Paco or Pandacan area.
Principal Quality Accountabilities (Quality Work):
• Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, using accounting software or manual systems. Conducting bank reconciliation.
• Financial Records Maintenance: Preparing and maintaining financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Financial Reporting: Generating accurate and timely financial reports, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for management and regulatory purposes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, analyzing actual performance against planned targets.
• Tax Compliance: Preparing and submitting tax returns, ensuring compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Providing advice on tax planning and optimization.
• Audit Support: Coordinating and participating in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Ensuring timely payment of all monthly remittances to SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Conducting at least annual inventory of all vessel supplies. Likewise, conducting regular monitoring of the inventory report to ensure sufficient spares are available on board the vessel.
• Performing bank and administrative errands.
Safety Accountabilities:
• Ensuring prompt delivery of all financial undertakings as advised by the Chief Accountant to prevent delays in procuring services or supplies for the company.
• Maintaining effective record-keeping management.
Qualifications
• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Management or any related course
• With at least 3 years work experience
• Certified Public Accountant is not necessary, but a plus
• Efficient in oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• With high attention to details
• Flexible and team player
• Can work with minimal supervision on extended hours
