Account Tech is recruiting for the below role. The successful candidate will be contracted by Account Technology for HR and payroll purposes, however will work directly with the hiring company (Accounting Confidential) and will be reporting to them.
Accounting Confidential is an accounting and bookkeeping firm based in Brisbane, Australia. The clients consist of a range of small and medium businesses in multiple industries. Accounting Confidential utilises technology to ensure quality and efficient accounting and business processes.
This role will start on Monday 4th October, 2021 or sooner. This role will be working from home so the candidate will need to have a suitable work station that is quiet and can facilitate a work environment. A quality internet connection is required as is a reliable computer.
The hours of work for this role are Australian (Brisbane) office hours. For a Manila, PH candidate this means 6:30am to 3pm with a 30 minute break Monday to Friday. The public holiday schedule will also be following the Queensland Public Holidays which can be viewed here, www.publicholidays.com.au.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
A degree in a business related field
1 to 5 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Excellent English ability (written and verbal)
An independent contractor licence or ability to acquire (this is an Australian company so you cannot be hired as an employee)
Ability to communicate well online and using telephone and other online communication applications such as skype etc.
Ability to work independently and to a time budget

Benefits
As the company is an Australian company you will be employed as an independent contractor. You will receive payment to your bank account in Philippine Pesos from Account Tech.
The salary range is dependent on experience and will range between 28k and 32k per month. Payment is on the 10th of each month and covers the monthly payment amount.
The remuneration package figure is all inclusive and no additional health insurance or any other benefits (such as paid leave) will be provided.
The candidate can negotiate leave with Account Tech management however it will be unpaid as this is factored into the hourly rate. Payment is calculated using an annual salary rate which is then divided by twelve to get the monthly rate. An hourly rate will be calculated for use in leave deductions. As the working hours are 8 hours per day, 8 hours per day of leave will be deducted from the monthly salary for leave days. We do have a generous time off in lieu policy where if you work additional approved hours to complete workflow you will accrue leave that can be used at a later date and is paid.
