QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. Accountancy graduate.
At least 1-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Skill in mathematical calculations and applications, analysis, judgment.
Working knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and auditing.
Working knowledge of modern office procedures and computer operation.
Account analyses, reconciliations and interpretation of results.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices, automated and manual accounting systems, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, budgets, journal vouchers and various BIR regulations as required.
Plan and organize workload, and meet schedules and deadlines.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-employees.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Taking ownership of projects and organized tasks. Feel confident making own decisions and executing plans. The ability to work without close supervision.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs accounts analysis; prepares journal entries to record or correct transactions.
Maintains and reconciles ledger accounts.
Maintains payment systems which include control and reconciliation of cash receipts, inventories, and cheque issuances.
Posts, balances, and reconciles the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
Assures the appropriate classification and recording of financial transactions and recommends changes to procedures when appropriate.
Maintains accurate records and an effective filing system.
Assures financial records are maintained in compliance with sound accounting practices.
Maintains automated accounting and control mechanisms to monitor various accounting activities.
Prepares work papers, financial statements and various reports for government agencies, as well as for internal accounting purposes.
Balances accounts and prepares statements of profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements, accounts receivable and payable.
Recommends and implements financial controls to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and practices.
Prepares tax returns in accordance to BIR tax regulations and ensure its timely submission to the agency.
Prepares and interprets interim and annual financial statements and reports.
Performs financial audits as required to analyze and determine the impact financial information.
Performs other duties incidental to the above, that may be required from time to time.
