Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Junior Financial Accountant will assist in the financial and management reporting of NPG PTY LTD and of the SC14C Joint Venture.
Critical Competencies
Highly developed financial and accounting skill;
Proven analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities including the ability to understand budgets, reporting, forecasting and internal controls;
Strong knowledge of PFRS, IFRS, and taxation;
Ability to identify and prioritize issues;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Qualifications
Qualified Accountant
Experience
1+ years plus;
Handling of accounting software like MYOB or Sunsystems is an advantage but not required; and
Prior experience in working for a listed oil & gas company with both E&P assets is an advantage but not required.
