Overview:
We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills. Certified Public Accountant is expected to be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.
To ensure success, Certified Public Accountant should be critical thinkers, proficient in math, and accurate with a solid understanding of account and financial reporting principles and practices. Top candidates will have outstanding report writing skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares financial statements and fiscal reports which include the compilation and analysis of data required for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital and prepares Costing, Balance Sheet, and Provident & Loss statement.
Prepares timely statutory and local tax reporting requirements for submission to the appropriate authorities and finance business leader for approval prior to filing and payment.
Prepares audit schedules for external auditors and liaise between the business unit and auditors.
Maintains cash management records, including funds drawn and received, funds disbursed by sources, crediting of funds to bank accounts, and classifies revenue as to sources of funding and expenditures as to their nature
Review Cash Advance, Liquidation Report, Accounts Receivable collection, and other accounting reports
Prepares/review documents needed for renewal/amendments/application of Government registrations (BIR, SEC)
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Accountancy, and must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Minimum of three (2) years of experience in general accounting, treasury and financial reporting
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Flexible to assume wide variety of tasks
Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision
