Job Description
Data Entry - code and enter documents
Liaise with client staff e.g. transaction enquiries; expense receipts etc.
Enter and monitor monthly re-occurring General Ledger Journals
Reconcile Accrual accounts
Process monthly Statement Reconciliations
GST returns preparation and filing
Reconcile clients' bank and credit card accounts
Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account reconciliations
Reconciliation of Intercompany accounts
Financial Statement reports and analysis
Various accounting support tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
1 to 2 years related work experience
Knowledge of basic accounting
Experience working for a New Zealand or Australian accounting is an advantage
Experience in using Xero accounting software is nice to have
Must be attentive to details and a fast learner
Can easily adapt to new processes and technologies
With a good attitude, show initiative and driven
Ability to work independently and can collaborate with a team
Must have an excellent communication skill
