Junior Accountant (uk shift - hybrid)Diane Pendle, Inc

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our our client UK based accounting firm client.
The role requires strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. The role is expected to have regular and independent communication with management, peers in finance and other functions/business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
Financial reporting
Budgeting and Forecasting
Analysis
Reconciliations
Providing accounting services to all areas of the client's business as necessary
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
At least 3 years of general accounting experience is required for this position
Experience in a BPO setting is an advantage
Must have an experience in accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, HubDoc or similar
Must have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office or Excel
Great attention to detail
Must be willing to work on a midshift or UK shift (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM MNL Time)
Must be willing to work on a hybrid setup (2x onsite weekly in our office at IBM Plaza Eastwood Libis, Quezon City)
