Junior Accountant assist the Head Accountant in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the institution to make sure that its operation is finacially healthy and compliant with the stautory gudelines. The accountant will work closely with the management teams and other team leads to prepare budgets that work best for each department and the overall institution.
Futhermore, the accountant also helps to review the organizational financial guidelines and procedures to ensure the business is following the proper tax regulations. If any accounts payable and receivable questions or issues appear, the Junior Accountant addresses them and works to resolve the problem. They also develop monthly financial statements regarding the company's profits, loss statements and balance sheets.
In addition, the accountant also assist in: * The assessment of tuition fees and other school fees.
Filing of paid vouchers and used official receipts.
Processing of dropping, refund, discounts and academic scholarships.
Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts;
Providing information for auditors.
Checking the posting and record keeping of student's flight account.
Cheking the posting and record keeping of student's tuition fee account.
Preparation of financial statements for BIR and Management purpose.
Processing of Government Payments (BIR, SSS, PH, HDMF, CAAP and MIAA)
Preparation of Trial Balance to unadjusted financial statement
Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. and;
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
