Position Assignment
This role is a multi-functional position working within the finance department, primarily responsible for the Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Month end closing, Expenses control, Invoices processing and Vendor Master Data management.
This position requires a high flexibility and will be exposed to a large variety of tasks and duties.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounts Receivable function which includes invoicing, debtors handling, payment allocation, customer collection calls / emails/ collection letter, statements issue, customer accounts reconciliation and credit control
Accounts Payable functions such as expenses control, invoices register, new vendor account creation and update
Month end closing journal entries including rebates, for Commercial cooperation and sales, customer provision (bad debt), Cash in transit, rebate
Month end closing tasks including AR bank reconciliation, DSO report
Balance sheet reconciliation
Provide assistance during audit
Assisting finance manager for cash flow forecast
Ad hoc duties
Requirements
Ability to work under supervision towards autonomy, as well as thinking out of the box and proactively solving issues are necessary.
Strong work ethics, accountability, flexibility and result-oriented mindset are demanded. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Ability to follow through on set tasks and effectively manage priorities.
TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE AND RELATED SKILLS:
Proven 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
Degree qualification in Financial Accounting
Excellence in accounting / accounts receivable, credit control
ERP experience is a must (Microsoft Dynamix preferred but not critical)
Excellent verbal and written English, communication & interpersonal skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word
Highly Proactive and team oriented
Good time management skills
Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
