With Freelancer continuing to grow, we are growing our local jobs offering through market-making; a proactive sales-orientated approach to connecting employers and freelancers in local regions. We are therefore searching for an awesome Account Manager to take up this mission and play a vital role in growing our local marketplace across the world.
In this role, no two jobs will be the same. On one hand, you will be solving problems for a diverse range of industries, businesses and entrepreneurs; on the other you will help provide people with employment opportunity. Requirements
Fluent English; both written and spoken
Proactive and a self-starter; constantly seeks new challenges
Remains calm under pressure
Target driven
Ability to multi-task with a knack for solving problems in new and creative ways
Excellent communication skills; able to express complex ideas simply and concisely
And we'd love it if you had:
A keen interest in tech and the start up community
Experience in a customer-facing sales role, particularly via phone, email and chat
A degree or diploma in a business/marketing/communications or related discipline
Experience with web-based businesses
