About the job
As a Junior UI Writer, you'll work with editors and co-writers to create app and website screens. Your written work won't be limited to just screens, though. You may also receive blog writing assignments, as well as create internal materials.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong grasp of written languageand that includes English, Filipino, and Taglish. That quality includes the ability to write for various platforms, and adapting your writing style to fit different brand personalities.
You are also expected to collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to produce work within your responsibility.
What Will You Do
Produce written materials for Frost's clients, as well as internal projects
Materials may include but are not limited to, content for websites and apps, social media posts, scripts, and long-form pieces
Create and implement content calendars
Participate in sprint planning, cadence meetings, and other alignment activities
Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Throughout your work, you will be expected to:
Ensure that one's work adheres to Frost's standards
Sustain the company's growth
Uphold Frost's culture and values
Maintain cordial relations with colleagues
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of professional writing experience.
A kick-ass portfolio of written works.
An above-average grasp of written English, including knowledge of colloquialisms and slang.
The ability to write for different touchpoints, including websites, social media, as well as print.
The ability to write materials that are consistent, in tone and content, to a brand's voice.
A few qualities you'll need to integrate with your team:
Excellent communication skills.
The willingness to step up when your team depends on it.
