C. Responsibilities and Authorities:
Preparing cost estimates for construction projects or services to aid management in bidding or determining price of service for Structural.
Conduct constant physical site Audit for Structural .
Provide complete and detailed estimate of labor and material cost by analyzing blueprints and other related documents
Attend pre-bid meetings to verify discrepancies from the blueprint
Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to validate the cost of materials
f. Must have knowledge in quantity take-off, cost control, cash flow, and contracts administration.
g. Will be responsible for review and preparation of BOQ in accordance with the scope of works.
h. Will be responsible in preparation of Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates of various projects
i. Assists in the evaluation of bids; evaluates monthly progress billings, change orders, price escalation/adjustments and time and cot trade off.
j. Prepares the cost estimates (direct and indirect costs) of additional pay items of the project
k. Conducts periodic measurement of physical accomplishments
l. Review Structural plans, prepare quantity needs
m. Estimate quantity and costs of materials
n. Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
o. Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
p. Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
q. Document progress, materials, and reports on project
r. Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws
s. Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates
t. Knowledgeable in Construction Contract Agreements.
u. Responsible for processing/evaluating billing, monitoring project cost and preparing contracts
v. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
