JOB SUMMARY
1. Monitor and ensure that the project expenses are within the approved budget.
2. Assist in preparing in-house estimates/Bills of Materials.
3. Quarterly update of the project cost due to material cost inflation.
4. Participate in checking the quantity of materials requested by the Materials Controller prior to sending them to
procurement.
5. Validate cost proposals submitted by the contractor prior to approval.
6. Evaluate, monitor, and record contractor's billings and change orders based on contract amount.
7. Evaluate, monitor, and record contractor's accomplishment reports based on submitted cash flow.
8. Monitor and record construction expenses based on requests and orders.
9. Create summary reports of the actual expenses of the project vs the approved budget.
10. Prepare and consolidate bid documents - Bid Forms, Invitations to Bid, Bid Plans, Site Condition Pictures, and Bid Packages prior to sending them to the Qualified Bidders.
11. Prepare the tabulation of bid proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or any other related field; with Professional License.
With a minimum of three (3) years of work experience for Jr. Cost Engineer
Related experience handling vertical and horizonntal projects
With in-depth knowledge of engineering and construction practices
Highly organized and able to multitask
Willing to start as soon as possible
