Jr. Backend Developer (PHP) is responsible for writing and updating server-side web application logic.
He/She will develop back-end components,
Connect the application to other web services, and develop REST APIs for the front-end.
Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 1-3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Must have a good working knowledge of object-oriented programming and various software design patterns
Must have a good working knowledge of PHP
Must have a basic working knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL
Must have experience with code versioning tools such as Git
Experience with Laravel is a plus
Experience in REST API development is a plus
Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB, and Elasticsearch is a plus
Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
Experience with automated unit testing and PHP testing frameworks such as PHPUnit is a plus
Good understanding of OWASP security principles is a plus
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, is a plus
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Willing to work in the Ortigas, Pasig area
