As a Junior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance and accounting team, supporting various financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your responsibilities will include assisting with general accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations, and providing support to senior accountants and management as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
• Assist in managing accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis.
• Monitor budget performance and report any deviations.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
