We are looking for an effective Junior Accountant in our finance organization to run the finance function in Trusting Social, a fast growing, AI Fintech company.
What you will do
The Junior Accountant will report to the Group Finance Director and will primarily be providing support over following key responsibilities but not limited to:
Provide day-to-day overall financial accounting function including expenses, reconciliations, intercompany invoicing and allocation;
Manage accurate and timely monthly and annual closes for the company to meet the group's statutory requirements and corporate governance;
Work effectively with other Finance counterparts across the organisation in managing intercompany, allocation and transfer pricing functions;
Perform analytical review of the operating results to ensure the accuracy of accounting records;
Support implementation of new internal systems and processes on behalf of the accounting organization
and drive consistency on a global basis;
Support with the annual local and consolidated audit including preparation of work papers for external auditors;
Support in working with tax agent in ensuring compliance with all tax and legal requirements in meeting the government reporting requirements;
Manage activities including payroll, expense report escalation, contracts and other transactional assistance as and when required;
Help manage the process of obtaining board resolutions across group entities, track and manage contracts, maintain a register of documentation and resolutions.
What you need to have
Degree in Accountancy or CA equivalent;
2-5 years in handling full sets of accounts; preferably 2 years prior audit experience;
Strong technical accounting knowledge on local PFRS and IFRS;
Pleasant disposition with strong English verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work and interact well at all levels of the organisation;
Proven ability to work in a high growth environment;
Able to start at a short notice will be an advantage;
Experience in ERP financial system i.e SAP will be an advantage
