Junior Accountant
Will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the Accounting Department by executing daily tasks with strong attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time, management skills, and effective problem solving to ensure success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Accounts Payable, includes processing invoices, following up with suppliers, and resolving discrepancies on time
· Processing the payroll of all employees
· Banking, processing bank deposits, including trips to the bank. All associated finance entries
· Preparing monthly remittances including but not limited to contributions and loan payments to government agencies like SSS, Pag-ibig, and Philhealth
· Processing Employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company guidelines, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses, and entering into the accounting system
· Issuing and submitting reportorial requirements BIR
· Filing and records retention
· Assisting with Monthly and Year-End Tasks
· Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
· Prepares liability/ Purchase Voucher to set up Payables (Trade & Non-Trade)
· Process check voucher and other payment requests
· Match invoices to checks and releases check to the supplier
· Respond to all supplier's inquiries
· Reconcile supplier's statements, various reimbursement, and correct discrepancies
· Prepares Daily Cash Position Report
· Prepares Journal Voucher
· Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, under company policy and accepted accounting practices
· Prepares the monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement
· Assist in bookkeeping (Purchase Book) and month-end closing
· Coordinate with the Accounting Head the schedule of check releases and other payables
· Assist on the ongoing up-dates of Financial Reports or other Accounting Tasks as needed
· Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
