Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: As a part of L3 production support, Sr. Software Engineer will: Identify, troubleshoot and provide solution for production incidents of moderate to high complexity Identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services Monitor production environment to maintain consistency and provide reliable server and application availability Be flexible to work for extended hours and on weekends as needed to handle high priority issues Interface with L1 and L2 support groups, providing assistance and guidance as required Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: 6+ years of Software Development experience 3+ years of experience in Java production support 1+ years of experience with Kafka 1+ years of experience with SOAP webservices 1+ years of experience with one of the following continuous delivery technologies (Jenkins Docker, OpenShift, Azure Monitoring, etc.) Monitoring & Observability experience (e.g. Splunk, DynaTrace, custom Grafana) GitHub experience Strong Java knowledge to debug the production issues
