As a DevOps Engineer in our team, you will be working on several projects and various technologies, and gain exposure to strategic initiatives including Cloud migration. You will work with our highly skilled and geographically dispersed teams to plan, design, maintain and support responsive web solutions and scalable applications in a DevOps manner. Business Responsibilities: The Key Personnel's core responsibilities include, but not limited to: End-to-end delivery of new features: clarifying requirements with the Product Owner and/or users, coding of functionality (Java, SQL), building APIs on a spring framework to provide services to Angular/React frontend, system testing, facilitating user acceptance testing, and Production deployment Supporting the Production environment: be the first point of contact for user feedback, investigating and fixing Production issues, day to day monitoring of system health Continual improvement of our platforms and practices, such as aiding the buildout of our CI/CD pipeline, system monitoring capabilities, and migration to the public cloud Key Skill Requirements: Proficiency in Java (Core or Enterprise Java) 5+ years in Front end technology - Angular/React/Javascript 3+ years of practical experience with Spring or Spring Boot RDBMS experience - ideally Sybase or Microsoft SQL Server Experience with software testing at various levels - unit testing, system/integration testing, automated testing of web applications Experience using and developing RESTful APIs Basic skills in Unix scripting Firm grasp of version control software like GIT Experience with SDLC tools (e.g Bamboo, JIRA, GIT and Confluence) Optional Experience with the public cloud (AWS) Understanding of Web development and front-end Web technologies Experience working in an Agile environment About the Corporate Operations Group The Corporate Operations Group brings together specialist support services in Digital Transformation & Data, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Business Services, Business Improvement & Strategy, and the Macquarie Group Foundation.
