CHAMP Cargosystems Philippines, Inc. is currently hiring Software Engineers- JAVA. Position Type: Permanent Full - Time Location: Manila, Philippines Responsibilities: To achieve a good understanding of CHAMP products. To perform several roles such as program coder, tester and technical support to collaborate with other software engineers in the performance of assigned tasks. To translate design specifications into program codes; adopt and adhere to the Company's software engineering methodology and standards. To participate in the technical discussions on project updates/ in resolving technical issues. To participate in the unit tests and to provide support during system implementation/ migration activities. To ensure that all progress and problems are correctly reflected in all status reports. To assist in the preparation of project documentation. Software Engineer (Non Web) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must have a good understanding of Java best coding and design practices Must have proven working experience in the following framework or technology o Hibernate o Spring o Struts o JSF, JSP, HTML o XML o Web Services o JMS o J2EE o EJB3.0 o JPA/JTA o RMI Expertise using the following framework or technology is a plus o Swing o HTML5 o Ajax o Portlets Experienced in using the following tools: o SVN o Tortoise o Netbeans or Eclipse o Maven or Ant With good SQL skills on databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) Experience in SCRUM and eXtreme Programming practice is a PLUS Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Good command of English language is a must Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent Minimum of 3 years' experience in Java development. Software Engineer (Web) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have experience in object-oriented development in a JVM based language, preferably Java, and microservices development Must have experience in working with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) Must have operational know how on Linux console Knowledgeable in design pattern and AWS is a plus Experience in SCRUM is a plus Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills Good command of English language Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent Must have at least 3 years experience Java, Spring Boot and MongoDB, Angular 4
