White Cloak Technologies is looking for a Java Backend Developer with experience in building secure, efficient, reliable, and scalable applications. As a Java Backend Developer, you will be part of a talented team working on mission-critical applications. Some key responsibilities are:
Work in an Agile environment and implement Agile Technical practices;
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to deliver quality releases;
Design, build and maintain backend services with REST APIs using Spring Boot framework in Java or Kotlin;
Coordinate with the Support Team to resolve production issues; and
Introduce new things that will make the team more efficient and awesome.
Requirements:
Familiarity with the following tech stack: Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL;
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with various design and architectural patterns;
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
Good command over any well-known IDE like IntelliJ;
Proficient understanding of API security standards;
Experience in using build tools like Gradle, Maven, and Ant;
Excellent knowledge of relational databases, QL, and ORM technologies; and
Experience in building APIs using Spring Boot Framework
This position is temporarily on WFH setup due to the pandemic.
