Your role will be to create a backend system from ground up, with REST APIs and creation of an admin panel to be used by admins.
The job will entail a deep understanding of backend systems, database systems, and integration to other existing systems.
Development Tasks would include:
Database creation, integration, and management-e.g., MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Using back-end frameworks to build server-side software, like Spring Boot
Web Server technologies-e.g., J2EE, Apache, Nginx (popular for static content, like images, HTML or CSS files), or IIS
Cloud computing integration-e.g., public cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, or private cloud environments
Server-side programming languages-like Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby, and JavaScript, when implemented with the server-side development environment, Node.js
Operating systems: Linux- and Unix-like operating systems, MacOS X, Windows Server
Content management system (CMS) development, deployment, and maintenance
API integration
Security settings and hack prevents
Reporting-generating analytics and statistics like system reports of server load, number of visitors, geography of visitors, etc.
Backup and restore technologies for website's files and DB.
Collaboration and code reviews in Git
Agile development
2-years experience with Java
1-year experience with Java Spring MVC framework
1-year experience with development of REST APIs.
Had to architect and structured at least 1 big application from scratch.
Intermediate knowledge of JS, HTML, CSS
Knows at least 2 other languages (PHP, NodeJS, Rails, Python, Erlang, GoLang, etc.) and 2 MVC frameworks of any language other than Spring
Candidates with extensive experience in developing backends from scratch (as opposed to maintenance/enhancements) are strongly preferred.
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice IT and Software Information Technology / IT 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
