JOB SUMMARY:
· Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
· Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
· Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
· Spring Framework
· Develop and implement solutions based on user requirements and architectural directions
· Review and refactor code as needed
· Run tests and fix bugs
· Design and develop data analysis solutions
· Provide mentoring and assistance to other developers
· Assist in release management and deployment tasks
· Assist in production support
· Provide estimates for development effort
· Contribute and adhere to the development, testing and release processes
· Contribute and adhere to the coding standards and best practices adopted by the organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5+ years of coding in Java
· 7+ years of development experience
· 5+ years developing web-based applications
· 3+ years of experience with relational databases
· 2+ years of experience with web front-end technologies
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Java coding in a typical multi-tiered architecture
· Solid knowledge and understanding of JEE technologies
· Standard SQL
· Linux/Unix commands and scripting
· Familiarity with build processes
· Familiarity with version control management
· Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Familiarity with Design Patterns
· Experience with PostgreSQL
· Experience with Jenkins
· Experience with JSON
· Experience with Apache Web Server
