You'll work with a small team responsible for building the key APIs that power our award-winning online and mobile banking platforms. You'll build and maintain microservices using industry best practices. This includes learning about the business, building and maintain high quality software in a DevOps manner, and help automate its testing and delivery. Additionally, you will work with your team to drive process improvements, test-driven development, and Agile and DevOps practices. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Strong oral and written communications skills Strong problem-solving skills Proven skills in Java 8+ with Spring / Spring Boot Experience in design and implementation of RESTful API services Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases Experience using continuous deployment and delivery (CI/CD) tools Although not required, experience in the following will be highly valued: Cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP Containerization technologies such as Docker Cassandra or other non-relational databases LDAP integration Our work environment is modern and inclusive with a strong focus on employee experience.
