Java and Kotlin Developer (Full-time Remote)
We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Operation developer who will work with Java and Kotlin to create/troubleshoot and improve current applications. The Operation Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.
Responsibilities:
Work in a team to manage end-to-end process of Java and Kotlin development
Manage and lead the other Junior to Intermediate developers
Collaborate with the other developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
Support system integration and user acceptance testing resources, and provide timely defect analysis, remediation, and reporting
Perform unit and functional testing to ensure the quality of work
Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in related fields
Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java and Kotlin
Experience in client-server-based project is required
Strong understanding of the operating systems, networking, and security
Working knowledge of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
Preferred experience with AWS or other mainstream cloud computing platforms
Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
Excellent project and time management skills
Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
Large capacity for attention to detail
Ability to work independently or with a group
Must be fluent in English
Authorized to work in the PH without any restrictions
Have the ability to work with minimal guidance
