The Role
As an IT Vendor Relationship Manager, you will support the IT Vendor Management Office in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities. You will also build lasting relationships with Tier 1 vendors that will help propel the most value from vendor engagements.
How you'll contribute
Handles email and call inquiry from the business and technology groups pertaining to vendors and their services.
Escalates to the IT Vendor Management Head concerns/issues encountered in the day-to-day operations that needs to be addressed immediately and/or beyond his control.
Keeps appraised of projects and initiatives involving IT Vendors.
Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
Assists in escalating issues to vendors for faster resolution.
Help develop plans to ensure successful vendor relationship management.
Respond to inquiries/clarifications related to IT contracts.
Monitor contractual agreements for all IT function's vendors in a periodic basis.
Facilitate Vendor Accreditation required documentation.
Facilitate and lead to track, measure, report and evaluate Tier 1 Application vendor performance in a periodic basis coming from the inputs of the engaging units and vendors alike.
Helps to ensure vendor accreditation documents are submitted by vendors annually for SBC and BSP Compliance.
Coordinates and collaborates with General Services Division, Legal, Outsourcing Committee, TEEC, Risk and Compliance.
Assist in drafting Request for Information (RFI) document to aide IT Group and Business to gain knowledge on a specific solution or service.
Assist in drafting Request for Proposal (RFP).
Assist in providing guidance to IT Finance in relation to the contract (e.g. scope of services, terms).
Manage Tier 1 Application vendors and platform owners
Helps in negotiating contracts in favor of SBC.
Collaborates with stakeholders to manage vendors upon early termination or cancellation as well as onboarding new vendors.
Reviews and approves IT contracts being onboarded to SBC with the help of various units (GSD, Legal and others) of the Bank.
Undertakes personal development or training as may be deemed necessary to meet the duties and responsibilities.
Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors.
Works closely with other IT Heads to ensure that vendor partners are managed effectively and contracts are fully leveraged.
Review and evaluate Service Level Agreements (SLA) to identify areas for improvement.
Keeps the IT contract master list updated.
Execute and implement Vendor Relationship Management strategy.
Maintains a summary of concerns/open items from the contract review of Legal/BU/IT Group and escalates to the concerned party for proper disposition.
Collaborates with different units of the Bank to formulate and improve workflow processes, methods and policies for IT related vendor engagements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Computer Science / Information Technology, Mathematics / Statistics, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Finance / Accountancy/ Banking
At least 3 of working experience in IT Sourcing
Preferably with ITIL certification
With knowledge in IT, sourcing, contracts and BSP circulars.
Effective communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Willing for a project based contract
