Position Overview
As a trainer, you will be responsible for planning and execution of new hire training and preparation of needed collaterals to ensure successful uptake of knowledge of the MS-Ops team. You'll work collaboratively with internal knowledge management team as well as the client SMEs to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer. You will also perform training needs analysis to identify gaps of internal MS-Ops team and drive programs to close these technological knowledge gaps thru various training executions.
What you'll do at Insight
Work directly with Internal teams to develop training and knowledge articles for Associate Techs, Technicians and Senior Technicians for the Global Resolutions Team (GRT) in Managed Service organization.
Assess and understand the applications supported by GRT. Define gaps in existing knowledge focusing on proprietary applications, GRT polices, and GRT procedures.
Meet with Insight team subject matter experts to document troubleshooting for proprietary applications for the purposes of knowledge article creation and building training modules for agents.
Develop curriculum, course completion exam, and conduct training for Techs
Assist with post go-live knowledge creation and questions from the GRT agents.
Work with operations team to update training modules as identified.
Develop new training modules as needed.
Perform reoccurring training as needed in the GRT
Perform INC/REQ Audit reviews and tailor training to correct and enhance quality
What you'll need to join Insight
Two-year Associate Degree (field related) or equivalent experience required.
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years helpdesk and or operations experience in a corporate environment.
Requires working knowledge of hardware/software concepts, including supported Microsoft products, servers, and network/account management tools.
Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result needed.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business/ professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, other employees a must.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to write using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to management.
Ability to interpret data and create meaningful reports is required.
Willingness to take initiative and be accountable for your own work
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology driven environment while striving to achieve customer satisfaction.
