IT Systems and Support Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides support in the development, maintenance and upgrading of computer systems. Supports in conducting user requirement analysis, preparation of program specifications and coordinating system installations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and Updates SAP Authorization for DPI including the related technical SAP Support requests & change management.
Educate business user to ensure Data Integrity in SAP masterfiles & accuracy of business transactions.
Serve as first level support to company in-house users involving all IT requirement covering hardware computing, LAN & WAN networking and business software systems.
Perform daily operational support of all IT systems: servers & network administration, backup operation & PC hardware/software troubleshooting; including the appropriate documentation for related activities, change management administration & information system security enforcement.
Involved in company IT infrastructure, procedure & policy, and business system review, & recommend adequate enhancement/improvement solution to management that will comply to corporate's overall IT strategies & business direction.
Maintains appropriate records of software licenses, hardware and network inventory of the company.
Work at odd hours and days as maybe required to provide support to DPI users in areas of SAP and other IT applications that is available.
Ensure IT governance & compliance to standard internal procedures.
Establish close rapport & communication with IT peers in the region with positive team spirit in mind.
Does regional support role for SAP. Involved in any SAP rollout when needed.
Participates in any ad-hoc IT project possibly assigned by company over time.
Conducts end user training related to systems usage & best practice guidance.
Continuously supports the compliance of both DPI's Quality and Environment, Health and Safety Management System policies and procedures.
Performs other tasks as may be assigned by superiors.
JOB SPECIFICATION/COMPETENCY
Minimum graduate from any IT related course.
Minimum 5 years experience in the field of Information Technology.
Can do complicated troubleshooting requiring analysis and repairs.
Basic knowledge on QMS,EMS and OHSAS practices and standardS.
