The Role
As a Systems Analyst, you will help the organization understand the business challenges and ensure that the needs and expectations of the business are represented correctly in the final solution. You will be responsible for ensuring that the requirements set forth by the business are captured and documented correctly before the solution is developed and implemented, taking into account prevailing best practices and technologies; and ensure implementation within the agreed schedule.
How you'll contribute
Work and communicate with Team Lead/Technical Lead during FSD preparation and discusses with them the approach and solution addressing the business requirements to ensure alignment of requirements process that enables efficiency to leverage capabilities and a new approach
Assist and participate in identifying the root cause of problems/during BCP/Disaster Activity encountered during the end of the day, and in finding a solution to these problems (provided that end of the day is applicable) to help technical teams if needed
Code programs requested by Users/technical Lead based on user specifications and systems development methodology to support Technical teams if needed
Review the Business Requirements Document (BRD) to assist Team Lead/Technical Lead on the assessment of business requirements to understand the scope and define gaps to ensure that the proposed solution is feasible and meets the actual needs of the stakeholders
Meet the requesting users to discuss the requirements and business needs through collaboration and by attending project meeting on the business design plan and system solution to effectively manage and handle concerns
Prepare formal documentation of Functional Specifications Document (FSD) based on the approved Business Requirements Document (BRD) to arrive at a consensus with stakeholders and to translate the specific functions into a more technical response
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
At least 5 years' relevant IT experience
Well-versed with systems analysis and design.
Exceptional skills in the translation of business requirements into technical needs and actions.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
