Job Role:
The post holder will have responsibility for the IT helpdesk support team to provide remote support and administration other area.
Responsible for managing the team members training & development.
Managing the day to day running of an ITIL service desk function to ensure handling of incidents & requests within SLA.
Prioritizing work streams, managing escalations and reducing the overall incident and request count as well as building an exceptional relationship with the business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Exceptional Customer service skills providing exceptional Service support to the business effective and professional communication skills.
Establish a good working relationship with the internal IT team, users and 3rd party vendors.
Strong Team Leadership, management skills and performance management.
Providing exceptional leadership skills, providing personal development, cross training and mentoring to team members.
Incident, request and problem management. Ability to provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and Problems.
Create, manage and evolve polices, processes and procedures documentation.
Create and manage a SharePoint documents records library.
Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s) Reduce overall incident and request count. Carrying out trend Analysis and Problem management with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Keep up to date with advancements in technology, continuously reviewing services and enhancing where appropriate.
Work with a variety of business and technical teams to enhance support service
Provide systems monitoring.
Processing requests for new starters and leavers (account creation \ deletion across multiple platforms)
Hardware ordering, Hardware Auditing
Mobile phone telephony (accountable for purchasing and ceasing mobile phones ensuring that billing is correct and aid to drive down the overall cost)
PC inventory tracking (accountable for purchasing and ceasing mobile phones ensuring that billing is correct and aid to drive down the overall cost)
Requirements
With at least 2 years working experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
Good communication skills, proficient in English is an advantage
Team Management: Ability to lead and handle a team
A+, or Cisco Certified is an advantage
Proficient in hardware and software installation.
Knowledge in Networking, WiFi and Internet
Ability to fix and provide improvement to network and server problems
Knowledge in Troubleshooting of Software and Hardware.
Management of emails, servers, and domains.
Knowledge in basic website development.
