IT SPECIALIST - NETWORK & SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
 
Job Summary:
 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role requires a strong understanding of network protocols, server administration, and IT security best practices.
 
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, operating systems, and software applications.
Monitor network performance and security, and implement necessary upgrades and patches.
Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place and operational.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems and applications.
Collaborate with IT team members and Clients to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Document network configurations, system changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, and assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network & System Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Experience with server administration in Windows and Linux environments.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Experience with network security concepts and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Willing to work on a HYBRID setup (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)
