The Role
As an IT Sourcing Officer, you will support the IT Sourcing unit in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities.
How you'll contribute
Handle email and call inquiries from the business and technology groups pertaining to vendors and their
services. * Escalate to the IT Sourcing Head concerns/issues encountered in the day-to-day operations that need to
be addressed immediately and/or beyond his control. * Keep appraised of projects and initiatives involving IT Vendors.
Keep apprised of new technologies.
Assist in escalating issues to vendors for faster resolution.
Respond to inquiries/clarifications related to IT contracts
Monitor contractual agreements for all IT function vendors on a periodic basis.
Facilitate Vendor Accreditation required documentation.
Assist in ensuring to track, measure, report, and evaluate vendor performance periodically by collaborating
with the proponents. * Help to ensure vendor accreditation documents are submitted by vendors annually for SBC and BSP
Compliance. * Assist in ensuring to track, measure, report, and evaluate vendor performance periodically by collaborating
with the proponents. * Coordinate and collaborate with General Services Division, Legal, Outsourcing Committee, TEEC, Risk
and Compliance. * Ensure all pre-requisites prior to contract approval/sign-off are completed.
Assist in drafting Request for Information (RFI) document to aid IT Group and Businesses to gain knowledge
on a specific solution or service. * Assist in drafting Request for Proposal (RFP).
Assist in providing guidance to IT Finance in relation to the contract (e.g. scope of services, terms).
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vendors upon early termination or cancellation as well as
onboarding new vendors. * Review and approves IT contracts being onboarded to SBC with the help of various units (GSD, Legal
and others) of the Bank. * Ensure the IT contract master list is updated.
Maintain a summary of concerns/open items from the contract review of Legal/BU/IT Group and escalates
to the concerned party for proper disposition. * Comply with and ensure adherence to company policies (e.g. SBC Code of Conduct, etc.).
What we're looking for
Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer, Computer Science / Information Technology, Mathematics / Statistics, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Finance / Accountancy/ Banking
With at least 4 years of experience in IT Sourcing
Preferably with ITIL certification
Knowledge in IT, sourcing, contracts, and BSP circulars.
Effective communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
