The Role
As IT - Software Quality Assurance Head, you will lead a team of analysts and testers in completing a software quality assurance engagement. Review specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases and plans. Prioritize, plan & coordinate testing activities. Identify, record, document & track bugs. Communicate with, end-users, testers, software developers and project managers
How you'll contribute
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories
Test planning and execution status, defect reporting, and ensure appropriate escalation of issues.
Report, monitor and response in a timely manner the issues reported in the Issue Tracking Tool.
Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
Coordinate with Project Manager / Technical and Team Leads on business related projects.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plan and test cases.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Perform and assist with implementing overall strategy for system testing using different testing methodology.
Contribute for planning and implementing standards for Software Quality Assurance.
Stay-up to date with the new testing tools and test strategies.
Recommend program improvements or corrections to Development team and/or Project Managers.
Coordinate cross-functional and cross-application work streams toward testing task completion.
Perform/Lead manual and automated testing activities supporting integrated systems development team.
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
Determine needed capacity to cover in-house and vendor related testing requirements of Solutions Delivery Team.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or other related fields.
At least 8-10 years solid experience in different techniques on systems quality assurance (manual, automated, performance).
Well-versed in the use of different testing tools.
Knowledgeable in project methodology.
Adept in software quality assurance (SIT, UAT, QA).
Highly technical and well organized.
Possess leadership skills, communications skills, and writing skills
Highly dedicated, motivated, pro-active, engaged, and with strong sense of ownership
Preferably with people management experience.
