The Role
As an IT Security Strategy Officer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the implementation of IT security controls and initiatives that align with regulatory requirements and ensuring documented and sustainable compliance based on the Bank's business objectives and the established Information Security Program. You will provide guidance over implementations of security controls and standards in the areas of application & infrastructure security, cloud security, cryptography, incident response, vulnerability management, and IT resiliency. Lastly, you will be responsible for maintaining, measuring, monitoring and reporting on established IT security KPIs.
How you'll contribute
Supports other departments in the division in matters of IT security controls implementation, IT Security solutions development, security and standards compliance, to support the achievement of the division's strategic objectives.
Monitors management metrics (performance and alignment of the strategy) and technical metrics (how well the security controls are working) to measure achievement of IT security KPIs within the division.
Help monitor and evaluate the maturity of IT security control implementations and measure compliance across the IT Security Operations, IT Security Engineering, & IT Security Assessment teams within the group.
Consolidation and generation of management reports and dashboards based on predefined and approved SLAs.
Contribute to the achievement of IT Security Operations and Governance Division's Strategic Plans.
Help initiate and support programs that drive IT security / cybersecurity awareness and help establish a security-conscious and security-compliant organizational culture.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in any technical or business or related course.
With at least 5 years experience in IT Security
With any of the following certifications or their equivalent: ISO 27001, ITIL, CISA, Security+
Excellent interpersonal communication & presentation skills.
Proficient in both oral & written communication.
High degree of organizational & analytical skills.
Flexible and capable of taking multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated and result-oriented, driving projects to meet the designated schedule
Basic understanding of IT Security, IT Networking / Infrastructure, Information Security implementation and auditing, Business Continuity Management, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Security Metrics, Project Management
Broad understanding of basic security control implementations (e.g. user access management, encryption, anti-malware, network monitoring, etc.)
Basic knowledge of emerging security control implementations (e.g. ZTNA, Cloud Security, DLP, EDR/XDR, etc.)
