Reporting to the Jardine Matheson Group CISO, the focus of this role is to assist the Group's subsidiaries across the Far East Region implement and utilise outsourced Managed Security Services (MSS) from the Group's selected vendor(s). The position will manage a small team supporting the Group's businesses in utilising the services, responding to detected security incidents and monitoring the vendors meet performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the outsourced MSS provision, including weekly and monthly reporting, health and operational metrics and adherence to contractual SLAs by the MSS vendor(s)
Develop, manage and improve operational practices including overseeing service delivery for all aspects of the MSS provider
Assist the Group's businesses in contracting, planning and rolling out the Group's standard suite of MSS
Responsible for integration of security tools and ensuring the right security logs are feeding into the MSS' SIEM
Ensure strong alignment with various vendors involved in threat detection, identification and protection.
Drive the creation of reports, dashboards, metrics for SOC operations and presentation to Group businesses and Head of Cybersecurity
Ensure all operational processes, playbooks and platform strategies are documented, exercised and continually improved
Assist in investigating security breaches and pursue associated forensic analysis.
Key Requirements:
Certified in information security disciplines such as CISM, CISA or CISSP
University graduate in IT
10+ years working within the information security field, with emphasis on security operations, incident management, intrusion detection, firewall deployment & operations, and security event analysis
3+ years managing security operations
Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL, PCI-DSS
Experience with implementation of security technologies such as: EDR, DLP, SIEM, IPS, Anti-Virus, MDM, SEG and cloud security
Possess excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders as well as technical and executive level staff
Experienced in working in a regional or global support role in multinational businesses
