Job Description
We are seeking an IT Security Engineer to join our IT Security team. The role will see you responsible for enabling effective and efficient security capabilities for Kaplan and contributing new ideas and solutions that continue to support the security initiatives in Kaplan ANZ. * Supporting and upholding Kaplan ANZ Information Security Policies by implementing monitoring and maintaining security configurations in various technology areas.
Implementation, Administration, support and incident response of the following security technology platforms:
Enterprise WAF (Imperva)
Antimalware (Sophos)
Next-Gen Firewalls(NGFW's)
Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
i. ATP email security
ii. Conditional access
iii. Cloud access security broker
iv. Azure information protection.
v. Data loss prevention
AWS
i. Inspector
ii. Security centre
iii. Guard duty
3. Work with your peers in IT Security Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure-Ops and service desk when security anomalies are observed and flagged at a security platform level.
4. Identify security threats or vulnerabilities and work to implement proactive fixes and improve processes
5. Regularly researching, exchanging and interpreting information, logs and evidence with your security peers
6. Informing and improving team and departmental security playbooks and processes
Scripting to automate security processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (or related Computing field) preferred
Demonstrated experience in identification, diagnosis and resolution of basic Networking and security Issues
Demonstrated experience interacting with outsourced partners around Solutions Design and implementation strategies
Experience collaborating with Network/system Architects in order to optimise system & solution performance
Demonstrated experience in the administration and support of enterprise-level security technology platforms.
Knowledge and experience in O365 ATP and Azure identity security concepts
Knowledge and experience of AWS security concept
Nextgen Firewal
Imperva Cloud web application firewal
Next-gen anti-malware ( Sophos)
6. General familiarity around the role and function of Enterprise Security devices including CDN's, IPS, Load Balancers, Routers, Switches

Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)
