About the job IT Project Manager
Job Purpose
The Project Manager will focus on monitoring and tracking the day-to-day operation of IT projects to ensure that all projects are delivered promptly. The role will be working closely with the IT management team and software and quality assurance engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products, solutions, and support on all IT applications.
Essential Functions
Work together with the IT Director and Solutions Architect to gather project requirements and scope from stakeholders and end-users
Develop, implement, and manage project schedules and work plans
Review and analyze project plans and make recommendations regarding resource
allocation and prioritization
Facilitate daily checkpoint or stand-up meetings with the software and quality assurance engineering teams to ensure all project objectives and deadlines are met.
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
Identify and report project risks and develop mitigation strategies for management
Assist the Solutions Architect in documenting and finalizing technical specifications and acceptance criteria of products/projects
Create and maintain related product and project documentation(s)
Handle onboarding and training of products and solutions to customers/partners/end-users
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project management and execution
Adhere to company processes and procedures to enable the smooth flow of product development cycle and operations management
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
2-3 years experience in any IT role such as Developer or Quality Assurance
2-3 years experience in IT Project Management
Knowledge of IT Project Management processes, procedures, documentation, and reporting
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and presentation skills; both written and oral
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and on a team
Ability to work in multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willing to be on a temporarily work-from-home job setup this year
