Internal Background: Insight Canada - IT Staffing, provides IT resources to supplement our clients' operational teams. One category of requests for IT resources comes from Authorized Vendor Lists. (Insight is a qualified vendor and allowed to submit resources to the request). These are competitive requests and have a tight turnaround (4 days per request). Contracts are awarded to the best resource submitted following strict guidelines on documentation.
We are looking for an FTE to focus on these submissions.
Tasks:
Working with identified resources/applicants to compile the necessary information to satisfy each individual skill that is identified on the skills requirement matrix. Approximate 10 to 15 skills per matrix. Skills vary per matrix and are role based. Ie. Business Analyst, Project Manager, Server Analyst. Skills are identified by the client.
Ensuring resume and matrix contain the same information (cross checking).
Ensuring documentation follows client's format for submission
Checking grammar and spelling on resume.
Maintaining a tight turnaround time from candidate so submission deadline can be met.
Resource should have the following skills to be successful in this role:
Attention to detail
Able to get clarification of information from variety of candidates/ask questions in a multitude of ways to obtain information required
Excellent communication in English
Time Management - turnaround is 4 days from receipt of request to submission
Strong skills in Microsoft Word/Excel
IT background - ie. recruiter, IT technical support, IT Business Analyst, IT project coordinator,
Work on MST time zone
Provide updates on progress as Submission deadline approaches
Great personality and positive attitude and LOTS of Patience!
