This role is responsible for the Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud Infrastructure functions of the company.
This includes data center infrastructure (servers, storage, facilities, networking & appliances), data center applications (primarily VPN, CDN, VOD, and other Cloud services), network administration, network engineering, and support.
The role is part of a global leadership team and therefore is expected to positively impact the overall delivery of information technology services as part of the technology team's mission.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Lead the IT Infrastructure function. Own the detailed design, build, and operation of local office & specified Global IT Infrastructure Services.
Provide and ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures).
Manage the effective and efficient operation of the IT Operations function and ensure departmental alignment with the organization's business operations.
To manage the availability of IT Infrastructure services by working in partnership with 3rd party providers
Define and deliver a continual improvement plan in line with the IT Strategy & Roadmap as part of the IT Services continual improvement plan. 6.Implements network security for Cloud and on-premise services.
Provide Infrastructure technical solutions to support site services.
Define, identify and implement new releases of system software and bespoke applications software in the PC, server, and network environments.
Analyze technology trends and develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery processes designed for agility and cost-effectiveness Provide infrastructure services, and vision, enable innovation, and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the firm's requirements and expectations.
Provide direction for the delivery of service operations and KPI compliance. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations.
Participate in IT strategic planning, project planning, and budget planning efforts.
Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers.
Ensure service is delivered to standards as per service level agreements, with internal suppliers and external vendors
Maintain IT asset management
Handle IT Vendor's payment processing and procurement of other IT services from service to Asset
Write and implement various IT policies.
Manage all aspects of IT infra and operations in the Manila office
Experience in operating at a senior level in IT, preferably global business, experience in delivering through a range of IT operating models including on premise, shared and outsourced operating model including IaaS
Demonstrable IT Infrastructure Domain knowledge including, Networks, Telephony utilizing Cisco Switching, Routing and IP Telephony technologies.
Knowledge of Private and public cloud service implementations
Demonstrable IT Infrastructure Domain knowledge including Hosting, End user Computing, Virtualizations MS Hyper V, VMware ESX, VDi Solutions,
Exhibits authority and leadership, takes responsibility, is independent and self-starting
Can learn new skills and knowledge, picks up on technical and business challenges quickly
Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
5 years of IT experience
Any IT certification is a plus
