YOUR ROLE
Join our Network Services Team in Hamburg. Keep sight of the bigger picture to drive forward our restructuring of the last mile network infrastructure. As an expert for switching, routing, Wi-Fi and Firewall you will work on develop and implement solutions, which meet the company's demands to be innovative and secure at the same time. You will also work on a central network management tool to automate daily network tasks, and follow/enhance the standard process
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Configure various network devices and services (e.g., switches, network access control,
Wi-Fi) * Consulting and support of our WAN products
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping,
processes, and service records * Performing DDoS prevention and protection
Evaluate and implement new technologies and products
Collaborate with peers in several countries around the world
Contribute to small to large-scale IT projects and support internal IT teams
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Proven experience and success with LAN and Wi-Fi design and implementation
Proven experience with network planning, network security principles and general network
management best practice * Able to conduct research into working issues and products as required
Basic knowledge of Python and Ansible for switch automation
Strong analytical skills and hands-on mentality
Fluent communication skills in English
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related course
