Permanent Employment Makati / WFH set up nightshift IT Manager Role is responsible for developing, testing and supporting end-to-end Artificial Intelligence applications for data mining, machine learning, underwriting, finance and operations. Tasks/Responsibilities Responsible for supervision of other developers doing AI development work. Create custom AI programs using data from the data warehouse. Compile A/I workflows based on documented requirements. Recommend to Senior Management platform migration, requirements, and rationale, to position Company's A/I, Client and NLP strategies for the next 3 to 5 years. Create algorithm driven system prototypes based on requirements to augment and/or replace manual functions and processes. Develop and integrate A/I systems into custom web applications. Re-write Java React underwriting algorithms into Python, Tensor Flow or MS Azure. Develop and implement benchmarking process and tools to routinely test algorithms in conjunction with Actuarial & Analytics team. Work with Senior Management to develop and implement multi-tiered strategy to leverage A/I, Client and NLP into product underwriting and supporting administrative functions. Support existing applications under development. Work with the QA team to ensure test cases are relevant and cover all functional requirements. Interface with other employees as needed (onshore and offshore). Undertake additional training and development tasks as requested by team lead or manager. Creation/Update of the Technical Support Document and Standardization Document Requirements 7 to 10 years of experience working as a developer within the financial services or technology industries, preferably for a commercial property/casualty insurance company or a subsidiary or a Master of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a specialization in A/I, Client and NLP. Experience in A/I applications and/or Actuarial Data is highly preferred. Prior work experience in A/I and Machine Learning development is required. Strong written and verbal English skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Experience and understanding of the SDLC (Agile & Waterfall) is a plus Education Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics. Advanced degree and/or professional certifications highly preferred.
