The IT Manager manages the activities of the team to provide high-quality technical services (including security, helpdesk, maintenance, and improvement of IT equipment) that satisfy end-user, leads the review and analysis of the team's performance in terms of goals, objectives, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the development and implementation of department objectives
Conducts assessments and evaluates the organization's technology use and/or needs to recommend possible improvements (i.e. hardware and software upgrades and replacements)
Guides and manages the team to ensure that the group attains set SMART objectives and accomplished their duties, responsibilities, and assignments
Conducts study, research, and development activities on current, effective, and emerging technologies to identify possible applications of technology and technology-based solutions to enable or enhance delivery of business services
Develops and manages the strict implementation and enforcement of established IT security standards, codes, policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and quality service
Manages work orders to ensure that these are properly diagnosed and escalated to the correct provider
Manages and ensures that escalation procedures are being followed and work orders are managed according to priority
Directs, coordinates, and monitors work activities of personnel to ensure that Company's productivity and accuracy standards and schedules are met
Conducts cost-benefit analysis for new purchases and repairs
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Graduate of any Technical or IT-related courses (such as BS Computer Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Computer Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology)
With good English oral and written communication skills
Must have at least 5-7 years work experience in Technical Management or Information Technology with at least 3 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing an IT Group
Must have expertise in various ERP systems (SAP)
Must have expertise in administering website platforms (like Shopify)
Must have expertise in Help Desk operations and Technical service management
Must have expertise in internet usage, Microsoft Office products, various Operating Systems and other productivity tools
Must have expertise in Network, Telephony and System Administration
Must have expert knowledge in Desktop and Application support troubleshooting
Must have excellent time management and coordination skills
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service orientation/skill
Must have excellent ability to build relationships and promote an environment focused on team development and continuous improvement
Must have excellent leadership and people management skills
Must have strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills
Must have business and data analysis experience
Must have exposure to forecasting and budgeting for technical support projects and maintenance
Must be highly resourceful and creative
